SWR DRAINAGE SYSTEM

Soil, Waste & Rain Water (S.W.R.) uPVC Drainage Systems are the ideal solution for drainage & sewerage applications, owing to its superior properties compared to conventional drainage systems.

The system is available in a wide range with diameter ranging from 40mm – 160mm & conforms to the relevant IS & international specifications.

Kisan SWR uPVC Drainage Systems are a set of pipes and fittings used in excreta lines of Residential and Commercial complexes. Type B pipes are specifically used for Hi-Rise Buildings. The general applications of these pipes are:

  • Soil / Waste

Lines are connected to various excreta generation points such as Lavatories (Basins, Commodes etc.) and kitchens (sinks etc.) for smooth transportation of soluble and in soluble waste along with water to main drain lines.

  • Rain

Lines connected to Gulleys, Gutters on Roof tops for drainage of excess rain water.

  • Lightweight

Convenient and cost effective as transportation & handling is easy.

  • Flexibility in usage

Possible due to option of joining either by Rubber Ring or with Solvent Cement.

  • High Flow Rate

Excellent flow properties made possible due to the smooth internal surface that remains constant throughout it’s life.

  • Weather Resistant

Excellent outdoor weathering performance due to specially blended UV stabilised compound.

  • Aesthetic Superiority

Far superior when compared to conventional CI and AC systems.

  • Performance

Trouble-free functioning saves on inspection & maintenance costs. A combination of lightness, flexibility & use of pre-fabrication results in substantial savings in time and money.

  • High Impact Strength

Not prone to mechanical damages due to handling and transportation.

  • Chemical Resistance

Unaffected by a wide range of chemicals & safe from attacks by galvanic or electrolytic action.

  • Non-Flammable

Self-extinguishing as it does not support combustion.

  • Corrosion Resistant

Constant contact with water does not deteriorate the material.

  • Rodent Repellent

Special treatment at compounding stage ensures that the product is immune to rodent attacks.

3. Apply Kisan lubricant on the external surface of the chamfered end of the pipe and on the rubber gasket.Fit the rubber ring into the groove.

4. Check ring seal to ensure it is in position in the housing.

Installation on Walls / Concrete

Traps

Traps are essential for efficient functioning of drainage systems. For domestic systems, the trap is a depressed fitting to the sanitary fitting and remains full of water. Technically they are termed as water seals. The function of a trap is to prevent the seepage of bad odors / gases inside the room and at the same time to allow the sewage to flow through it. The effectiveness of the trap depends upon the depth of seal. Municipal Corporation and ISI specify the depth of the seals as minimum 50 mm.

Different types of Traps

The floor trap is provided at the points of entry of waste water into the house. It is thus placed in bathrooms, kitchens, sinks etc. It is a starting point for waste water drainage. A cover (jali) is provided on the trap to prevent entry of solid matter.

Installation

  • Determine correct location of 'P' / 'Q' / 'S' Traps and set it on a firm base located relative to the floor finish by pouring concrete on slab.

  • Bedding can be carried out by pouring concrete around 'P'/ 'Q'/ 'S' Trap, ensuring that outlet of Trap is left clear of concrete.

  • Place WC connector ring to the socketed end of 125 / 110 'P' / 'Q' / 'S' Trap.

  • Apply rubber lubricant on WC connector ring as well as on outer side of IWC pan and now complete the joint by pushing IWC pan to home of 125 mm socket of 'P' / 'Q'/ 'S' Trap.

  • When 110/110mm 'P'/ ‘Q'/'S' Traps are used for jointing other than IWC pan connection, the joints are to be completed with the help of solvent cement.

  • The outlet of 110 mm can be inserted in the socket end of pipe / fittings (as the case may be) and joint can be solvent cemented to make leakproof joint.
